Abstract:

The researcher poses the problem of many contemporary researchers not adhering to the ethics and regulations of scientific research according to the methodologies of Muslim scholars in scientific research. The research addresses the ethics of research and introduces new topics such as mechanisms for monitoring the ethics of scientific research and the benefits derived from adhering to these ethics and their foundations, all through a descriptive approach. The research is presented in five sections: the first defines scientific research and its importance, the second discusses Islam's concern with knowledge and scientific research, the third covers the ethics of scientific research in Islamic thought, the fourth discusses the researcher's ethics, and finally, the fifth outlines the regulations of scientific research in Islamic thought. The research concludes with several key findings, including that scientific research in the Arab world faces a real crisis compared to the Western world.
