This study discusses the role of the educational institutions in Jerusalem with the beginning of the Ottoman rule to maintain a developed level of education to suit the requirements of that period, which has a clear development in this city during the Mamluks. The study also aims at clarifying the impact of Al Rasasyah school (Bayram Jawish) on the renaissance of education in that period; noting that the Waqf endowment on its interests was a major reason for its success. As the recommendations mention the need to maintain such institutions and support it to stand up to the Zionist occupation and its plans to Judaize Jerusalem . Jerusalem has a great place in the lives of Muslims; as the first direction of prayer and the third of the two Holy Mosques, this place and status dedicated by the Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet, and the longing and nostalgia for it, as a result of many trials and tribulations passing through the Crusades, the attempts to Judaization and the Zionist isolations recently. The role of education was a center of radiation extends its influence across the Arab Islamic world. The city has given birth to hundreds of scientists, scholars, judges, modernists, and preachers who had a special role in the development of the intellectual movement in the Muslim world The Ottoman rule in the city of Jerusalem urged the preservation of many educational institutions left behind by the Mamluks. The Ottoman state did not stand against the patterns parents have chosen for their children's education , so they were given the freewill to choose whatever patterns they wanted; therefore, at that time education was more like an open education system. This all was due to the Waqf system, which was the backbone of the schools and mainstream institutions at that time, an extension of the curriculum and institutions that the Mamluks left before the Ottoman rule . There was a development of education during the reign of Sultan Suleiman Al Qanoni, who had a special interest in the city of Jerusalem and. The most important educational institutions were established during his rule. Al Rasasyah School or (Bayram Jawish) is one of the established institutions, which is located within the compound at the junction of the road known as Aqaba Al Tkieh with the ratios of the valley road and the way of the Nazer door (the council), that leads to Al Aqsa Mosque. It was attributed to its establisher Prince Bayram Jawish bin Mustafa (947/1540 AD). The first part of this study discussed the march of education in the city of Jerusalem with the beginning of the Ottoman rule, which is clearly linked to the privacy of this city and its place in the lives of Muslims. The second part of the study examined the architectural sections of Al Rasasyah school and its endowments, which ensured its progress and continued giving in Jerusalem as a leading Jerusalem educational institution, while the third spoke about its role in the educational march in Jerusalem
