 The perception of tourism has changed during the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to factors such as living conditions and the desire to get away from the risk of infection, the perception of tourism has shown a tendency from mass tourism to isolated tourism. Due to this tendency, the gradual increase in highland tourism and highland tourism activities during the COVID-19 period has led to changes in the dynamics present in the research area. The main purpose of the research is to reveal how and why the changing dynamics have changed. The most appropriate method for the research in terms of the scope, problem and purpose of the research is the qualitative research method. Semi-structured interviews were conducted in the research area to collect data. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed with content analysis and descriptive analysis techniques. The interviews were coded during the transcription phase and subjected to thematic and categorization process. Inferences were made with the help of themes and categories as well as direct quotes. The concept map obtained when the analysis process was completed revealed how the local people interviewed in the research area perceived the changing dynamics in highland tourism activities in the context of COVID-19.

 COVID-19 salgını boyunca turizm algısı değişmiştir. Yaşam koşulları, hastalığın bulaşma riskinden uzaklaşma isteği gibi faktörler dolayısıyla turizm algısı kitlesel turizmden izole turizm anlayışına doğru bir eğilim göstermiştir. Bu eğilim dolayısıyla yaylacılık ve yayla turizmi faaliyetlerinin COVID-19 döneminde giderek artması, Antalya yaylacılık faaliyetlerinde mevcut olan dinamikler üzerinde değişikliğe yol açmıştır. Bu bağlamda araştırmanın amacı, değişen dinamiklerin; nasıl ve neden değiştiğini ortaya koymaktır. Araştırmanın amacı göz önüne alındığında en uygun yöntem, nitel araştırma yöntemidir. Veri toplama tekniği olarak araştırma sahasında yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Görüşmelerden elde edilen veriler, içerik analizi ve betimsel analiz teknikleri ile yorumlanmıştır. Görüşmeler deşifre aşamasında kodlanarak temalaştırma ve kategorizasyon işlemine tabii tutulmuştur. Tema ve kategorilerin yanı sıra doğrudan alıntılar yardımıyla da çıkarımlar yapılmıştır. Analiz süreci sona erdiğinde elde edilen kavram haritası, Antalya Gömbe yaylasında görüşme gerçekleştirilen yerel halkın COVID-19 bağlamında yaylacılık faaliyetlerinde değişen dinamikleri nasıl algıladıklarını ortaya koymaktadır.
