 Objective: Web-based applications integrated into course content can support the stages of instruction in transferring complex and intensive information from Internal Medicine Nursing lessons to nursing care through critical thinking skills. This study aimed to evaluate the impact of a Web 2.0-based question application on students levels of critical thinking within the scope of Internal Medicine Nursing lessons. Methods: The research was conducted with 92 second-year nursing students at a university in the Northern Marmara Region using a descriptive design. Data were collected through a personal information form, the California Critical Thinking Disposition Scale, and a Web 2.0-based question application program at the beginning and end of a 14-week period. Results: The mean scores of the total and sub-dimensions of the critical thinking disposition scale of the students participating in the research showed a significant increase at the end of the period compared to the beginning of the period p0.001. Additionally, the correct answers of the students in the web-based question application increased by 77.7 at the end of the period compared to the beginning of the period, and this increase was found to be statistically significant p0.001. Conclusion: The web-based application created a space for critical thinking by allowing students to use their existing knowledge to answer questions posed without providing specific information related to the content of internal medicine nursing courses, thus enhancing their critical thinking skills. In line with these results, it is recommended to enrich the content of courses that utilize critical thinking skills, such as internal medicine nursing, with technology-based instructional programs.

 Amaç: İç Hastalıkları Hemşireliği dersindeki karmaşık ve yoğun bilginin eleştirel düşünme becerisiyle hemşirelik bakımına aktarılmasında ders içeriğine eklenen web tabanlı uygulamalar öğretim aşamalarını destekleyebilir. Bu çalışma, İç Hastalıkları Hemşireliği dersi kapsamında kullanılan Web 2.0 tabanlı soru uygulamasının öğrencilerin eleştirel düşünme düzeylerine etkisini değerlendirmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırma tanımlayıcı desende, Kuzey Marmara Bölgesinde bulunan bir üniversitenin ikinci sınıf 92 hemşirelik öğrencisi ile yürütülmüştür. Veriler kişisel bilgi formu, Kaliforniya Eleştirel Düşünme Eğilimi Ölçeği ve Web 2.0 tabanlı soru uygulama programı aracılığıyla 14 haftalık dönem başında ve dönem sonunda toplanmıştır. Bulgular: Araştırmaya katılan öğrencilerin eleştirel düşünme ölçeği toplam ve alt boyutlarından aldıkları puan ortalamaları dönem sonunda dönem başına göre anlamlı düzeyde artış göstermiştir p0,001. Ayrıca öğrencilerin web tabanlı soru uygulamasındaki doğru yanıtlarının dönem sonunda dönem başındaki doğru sayısına göre 77,7 arttığı ve bu artış istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bulunmuştur p0,001. Sonuç: Web 2.0 tabanlı uygulama ile öğrencilere İç Hastalıkları Hemşireliği dersi içeriğine yönelik bilgiler verilmeden var olan bilgilerini kullanarak yöneltilen sorular eleştirel düşünme için alan oluşturmuş ve eleştirel düşünme becerisini artırmıştır. Bu sonuçlar doğrultusunda İç Hastalıkları Hemşireliği dersi gibi eleştirel düşünme becerilerinin kullanıldığı derslerin içeriğinin teknoloji tabanlı öğretim programları ile zenginleştirilmesi önerilmektedir.
