 يعد مفهوم الاتساق النصي من بين المفاهيم اللسانية الحديثة، فهو معيار مهم واساسي للتمييز بين النص واللانص، فمن خلال اتباع وسائله وأدواته يمكن ان يصل القارئ إلى فهم النصوص وتأويلها. فهو يجعل من النص وحدة متماسكة يفضي بعضها إلى بعض. ولعل العرب القدامى قد فطنوا إلى مختلف هذه الوسائل النصية التي تجعل من النص وحدة متماسكة، فحكموا على قصائد الشعراء بالحسن والقبول من خلال ما لمسوه من حسن الرصف وجودة السبك.
ومن هذا المنطلق تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن مختلف مظاهر الاتساق عند العلماء العرب القدامى، وكيفية تجلي هذا المفهوم عندهم، من خلال التطرق في بداية البحث إلى مفهوم الاتساق النصي وعناصره، اما الجزء الثاني من البحث فقد خصص للكشف عن هذا المفهوم عند النقاد والبلاغيين العرب القدامى
 The aspect of textual coherence is considered one of the modern linguistic concepts. It is an important and fandamental criterion for distinguishing between text and non-text. By following its methods and tools, the reader can come to understand and interpret texts. It makes the text a coherent whole 
 . .that leads to one another
 The ancient Arabs may were aware of these various textual means that make the text a coherent unity, They gave the poems a well and acceptable 
 .judgement through the good order and the quality of casting they found in them
 From this standpoint, this study aims to reveal various aspects of coherence among ancient Arab scholars and how this concept had emerged, by tackling at the beginning of the research the concept of textual coherence and its elements. The second part of the research is dedicated to reveal this 
 .concept among ancient Arab critics and rhetoriciens.
