Abstract:

In this study, crisis management in sport has been evaluated within the general framework based on literature review. A natural disaster or economic collapse occurred anywhere in the world affects all social and cultural areas in the context of information and interaction. It is important to overcome the process with the minimum loss, making the inferences from the process and the planning for the future in the management of the crisis faced. Today, sport is in position of measure of development and status. Crisis in sports management leads to loss of prestige and value in sports organizations before anything else. It is thought to be a necessity to make strategic evaluation and preliminary preparation in the crisis management in sport considering the events in the past.
