Abstract:

This study came to find out the relationship between Facebook addiction and the collapse of moral values within the Algerian family, and we allocated the category of adolescents to conduct this research. To diagnose this phenomenon, we conducted a field study in which we relied on 10 cases of adolescents who have Facebook accounts and are exposed to unacceptable content. We used the descriptive and analytical method to describe and interpret this phenomenon, and relied on observation and interview techniques to collect data, and the results of the study showed that the absence of parental control and the addiction of adolescents to Facebook, especially its immoral content, contributed to their acquisition of immoral values that are frowned upon and rejected in our society.
