 Objective: This cross-sectional study was conducted to determine the knowledge levels of nursing students regarding sharp-injury injuries, to determine its relationship with HBV, and to determine the preventive effect of the isolation descriptive figure within the scope of the proactive approach. Methods: The study was conducted with 273 students studying in the nursing department at a Faculty of Health Sciences between January and February 2024. In order to collect the data, the Introductory Information Form and the Healthcare Workers Attitude Scale towards the Safe Use of Sharp Medical Instruments were used. Independent groups t-test and one-way analysis of variance ANOVA were used to evaluate the data. Results: The average age of the participants was calculated as 21,0801,894. 60.1 of the students mostly obeyed the rules during intravenous intervention, 62.2 were injured by sharp objects, 44.9 were injured during treatment, 88.1 were injured. It was determined that 36.8 of the patients were not reported after the injury and 36.8 were not reported because they were not worried. 81.2 of the participants did not complete their vaccination doses, 84.8 learned the patients hepatitis status from healthcare professionals, 46.3 learned the patients hepatitis status before infection, and 56.9 did not receive training on the use of sharp objects. determined. The total score average of the students attitude scale towards safe use of cutting-piercing medical tools was calculated as 108.74912.731. Conclusion: It was found that the students attitudes towards the safe use of cutting-piercing medical tools were high. It was determined that the knowledge level of the clinical period students who always followed the rules of intravenous intervention was higher than the preclinical students.

 Amaç: Kesitsel tipte planlanan bu çalışma, hemşirelik bölümü öğrencilerinin kesici-delici alet yaralanmalarına yönelik bilgi düzeylerini belirlemek, HBV ile ilişkisini tespit etmek ve proaktif yaklaşım kapsamında izolasyon tanımlayıcı figürün önleyici etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapıldı.
