Abstract:

Legendary and mythical tales have persisted to the present day, both verbally and in writing. In these tales, women or groups of women are occasionally portrayed as the heroes. These women are said to possess traits like utilizing a bow or gun, shooting arrows for a specific reason, not being married, learning martial arts, commanding an army, piracy, a love of war, and disguise, and to some extent, these traits are portrayed in the movies. In this study, an explanation of how films that are based on mythological and legendary female warriors mirror the female warrior figures in contemporary cinema art has been attempted. In light of analogies between warrior women in cinematic depictions of strategy, way of life, and warrior traits of mythical and legendary women, their The comparison approach was used to assess the similarities between warrior women in cinematic films in terms of strategy, way of life, and warrior-related traits of mythological and legendary women. This indicates that female warriors from many locations have inspired the female warrior figures in film. Geographically speaking, mythological and legendary women fall under the heads of Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Far East. The filmsdepictions of warrior women were studied through content analysis, and information was gathered and collated. The characteristics of mythological and legendary women that affected the characters adapted for the screen were looked at, and as a result, the characteristics of the newly produced characters.
