Abstract:

The western province of the Islamic nation represented a scene for many major incidents of the Islamic history. This part of the Islamic nation had been a fertile environment for many resisting movements against the Abassid and Umayyad empires to grow as they had been afar from the existing ruthless governments at that time. The Shia Ismaili movemet took advantage of the civil unrest that took place across the nation to advertise the principles of their movement using the scholars who spread across the western province with the goal of establishing their own tion on this part of the Islamic nation. They have, to some extent, succeded in this process after a long time and efforts spent for this purpose and then they escalated it up to become an armed resistence. Thus, we chose this topic: The Situation in the Western Province of the Islamic Nation Before the Commencement of the Armed Resistence Led by the Fatmid Shiad (902/289 AH). It had been on this date when the armed resistence stage started as a result of the work of the Shiad scholar and the victory of the Fatmiad and the establishment of the Fatmiad empire on (909/296 AH). We discussed in this research the situation in the western province of the islamic nation before the establishshment of the independent nation and then we highlighted the situation of the Bni Midrar nation before the commencement of the Fatimid armed phase. We also discussed the situation in the Rustumi nation before it had been attacked by the Fatimid. Furthermore, we shed some light on the Adarisa nation before it had been taken over by the Fatimids. We finally discussed the situation in the Aghaliba nation before conflict started with the Fatimid. We concluded the research with a presentation of the factors that led to the collapse of these nations after the commencement of the armed resistence.
