Abstract:

All studies on the history of Algerian-Moroccan relations confirm that these two countries represent a single, unified unit that has been blended and consolidated by the natural unity factors of Islamic religion and Arabic, history and geography. In doing so, they are two sides of a single coin made in one metal and refined by a skilled maker, However, the interference of other external and internal factors, such as European colonization and the national interests of their politicians, has brought the two States into conflict, turning them into adversarial brothers.
How do Algerian-Moroccan relations characterize 1962-1994, and what are the main control factors? What is the impact of the Western Sahara issue on these relations؟.
