Abstract:

Our interest in the archaeological map of the wilaya of Tipaza is due after we published a similar work on the wilaya of Tissemsilt, and another on the wilaya of Constantine, and we also did the same work on the wilaya of Tiaret (unpublished), while the beginning of our work was on the archaeological map of the wilaya of Tipaza since 2014, in which it was Counting the archaeological sites that were mentioned in the archaeological atlas of Algeria, prepared by Stephan Gsell and published in 1911, we added to it the sites that were discovered later, as the number of sites was estimated at 101 archaeological sites without counting the sites that were discovered recently and which we have not yet included in the list. The map, and therefore this work remains as a preliminary archaeological map that helps researchers in field investigations according to the distribution of sites among the municipalities of the wilaya.
