 Childrens song translations are typically carried out with the aim of transferring educational and entertaining content intended for children into different languages. These translations are not limited to the mere exchange of word equivalents in different languages; they also aim to accurately convey the cultural, emotional, and educational meanings of the songs. The translation of childrens songs helps break down language barriers, enabling children from different cultures to understand, emotionally connect with, and enjoy the same songs. This study focuses on childrens songs, cartoon songs, and song translations, and then analyzes the Beze Bay Bay song from the Kukuli cartoon as a case study. The analysis is conducted within the framework of Peter Lows principles of singability, emotion, naturalness, rhythm, and rhyme. The research uses an analytical approach, relying on reliable sources. The objective of the study is to provide information about childrens songs and their translations in cartoons and to evaluate the translation of the Beze Bay Bay song according to the Pentathlon principles, assessing the translators success in the process. The results of the study indicate that the translator was not equally successful in all the Pentathlon principles, and in some cases, difficulties were encountered due to structural differences between the source and target languages during the translation process.

 Çocuk şarkıları çevirileri, genellikle çocuklara yönelik eğitici ve eğlenceli içeriklerin farklı dillere aktarılması amacıyla yapılmaktadır. Bu çeviriler, yalnızca dildeki kelimelerin karşılıklarının aktarılmasıyla sınırlı kalmayıp aynı zamanda şarkıların kültürel, duygusal ve eğitsel anlamlarının doğru bir şekilde iletilmesini de hedeflemektedir. Çocuk şarkılarının çevirisi, dil bariyerini aşarak farklı kültürlerden gelen çocukların aynı şarkıyı anlamasını, duygusal olarak bağ kurmasını ve keyif almasını sağlamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, çocuk şarkıları, çizgi film şarkıları ve şarkı çevirileri ele alınmış, ardından örneklem olarak seçilen Kukuli çizgi filminin Beze Bay Bay adlı şarkısı, Peter Lowın belirlediği şarkının söylenebilirliği, duygu, doğallık, ritim ve kafiye ilkeleri çerçevesinde analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmada, güvenilir kaynaklardan faydalanarak analitik bir yöntem kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın amacı, çizgi filmlerde yer alan çocuk şarkıları ve çevirileri hakkında bilgi sağlamak ve örneklem olarak seçilen Beze Bay Bay şarkısını Pentathlon ilkelerine göre değerlendirerek, çevirmenin çevirideki başarısını analiz etmektir. Araştırma sonucunda, çevirmenin Pentathlon ilkelerinin tamamında aynı düzeyde başarılı olamadığı ve bazı durumlarda kaynak ile erek dilin yapısal farklılıkları nedeniyle çeviri sürecinde zorluk yaşadığı gözlemlenmiştir.
