This study aimed at investigating the degree of effectiveness of the second edition of the training program Taqdar (You can) offered by the Youth Vision Company for Services and Investment from the prospective of trainees. To achieve the study’s objectives, the descriptive method was used and a questionnaire was distributed to a sample consisting of (80) trainees who attended the training program. The results revealed that the effectiveness of the program was high. The workshop on the employment via the internet was rated as the highest in its effectiveness and its ability to achieve its objectives. On the other hand, the workshop about future skills was the lowest. There were also no statistically significant differences in the program effectiveness based on the trainees’ gender or major. The trainees mentioned some challenges pertaining to the intensity and short duration of the program. Besides, the training was central in Muscat and it did not include other governorates. In light of the results, a number of recommendations were suggested which might help in increasing the program effectiveness in its next edition.
