Abstract:

 Summary
The relationship between the inhabitants of the Maghreb and all its components has taken many forms despite the constraints that have pressured this relationship because of the political rivalries between the entities of this region, especially after the fall of the Almohadin state (1147 AD-1269 AD).
Despite the political conflicts, communication has not been interrupted at the social level, has not been interrupted، framed by the collective Islamic spirit, and driven by cultural, economic, religious and social dynamics.
This research paper explores a model of this communication in miniature, through the relationship between one of the symbols of Sufism in the Middle Maghreb, Sheikh Abu al-Abbas Ahmed bin Yusuf al-Rashdi (1437–1524 AD), and the Zakara tribe in Maghreb al-Aqsa. The tribe, along with all its members, devoted itself to the sheikh and committed to his method. Even after his death, they continued to visit his tomb annually in a special festive atmosphere and with rituals.
This paper attempts to answer some questions regarding this ambiguous relationship: under what circumstances was it formed, and what signs suggest its existence?
