Abstract:

Abstract:
focuses to investigate Shatibi’s thesis and his critical view towards Sufism . That can be done through the study of the main attitudes about Sufism and the position of Shatibi in these intellectual trends . Special attention is also given to the way the Sufis experience should be addressed. That’s why we have highlighted the Shatib’s approach which analyses Sufism, its scaffoldings and its different trends within the Sunni Sufism. Besides, we have exposed the critical reaction to the fake Sufi stands that have led to the rejection of Sufism despite the social adoption for it . This paper also handles the projections of Shatibi’s critical analysis about Sufi discourse. In addition, it calls for the immediate need of modern civilization to embrace Sufism as a tool to fill the spiritual crisis from which humanity suffers.
