Abstract:

Abstract:The struggle between the currents of the victory movement for democratic freedoms prior to the outbreak of the liberation revolution changed from a political violent to a bloody conflict between the members of the independent current within the Algerian national movement both in Algeria and France. This struggle has taken serious dimensions in the course of the revolution. The distance between the two rivals has widened: the National Liberation Front from the Messali's Movement. Each side prepared its political, military and financial capacitiesand organized its supporters in professional، social and cultural frameworks to occupied the field of liberation struggle and gain popular legitimacy at home and abroad.
This has made it difficult for the conflicting parties (the Messali's movement، the National Liberation Front، the colonial administration) to seek to legitimize their struggle and their political project through popular allegiance. This situation obliged each part to deal with fair and illegal means to impose the statuquo. For France، the act was impossible، whereas Messali's movement and the Liberation Front has become dramatic in their relationship ,France in particular .Because the Algerian community constitutes a vital base for the fighters to supply the national struggle and
introduce it diplomatically abroad، for that reason they are both determined to occupy the field by force .
The participation of the Algerian community in the eight-day strike in 1957 was the first stage of the test of power between the Messali's movement and the Liberation Front، which revealed the latter's strength in gaining the popular loyaly in the displaced and the decline of the Messalism in its strongholds in the north and north-east of France after losing its field in Algeria.
Liberation Front opened a second front in France and entered it within the circle of war in 25-08-1958. This military action supported the leberation front to bring down masks and expressed the true representatives of the liberation revolution at home and abroad and frustrated the plots and conspiracies that France had to perpetuate in the fraternal conflict at the expense of the national cause . At last , the Liberation Front made its rivals (Messalism - colonial administration) pay the price in turn.
