Abstract:

Technological revolution has significantly impacted many domains including the notary sector and mainly the electronic notarial act which emerged in the form of an Electronic version and distance acts.
In this regard, the specificities of the electronic notarial act should be studied in the scope of the key role this document plays in the profession, it does not alter the official nature of the legal measures it implies but rather ensures the motives and the results of this proceeding before the notary who is the best witness of its efficiency.
Unlike the French legislator which adopted the electronic notarial act in both its forms, the Algerian legislation relies solely on the electronic version of the contracts as the notaries are reluctant considering the difficulties to embody and apply this means.
