Abstract:

Dramaturgical analysis is carried out with interdisciplinary approach such as sociology, psychology, philosophy and history. More than one literary works of Cengiz Aytmatov, which has special place in world literature, has been adapted to the cinema, but as far as can be reached in the literature review, it has been determined that the dramaturgical analysis of adapted films has not been made. Moving from this gap and interdisciplinary approach, Cengiz Aytmatovs Red Apple movie, which was made into cinema, has been analyzed dramaturgically from perspective of dramaturgy in terms of subject, social plane of the story, sociologicaleconomic political background, discourse plane of the story, theme, narration plane of the story, space design, personification design, point of view, plot, event frame, crises, climax, dissolution and end, directorial design, acting, sound and music design, important behind-the-scenes notes. How was the relationship between Kyrgyz cinema and literature handled through the film Kızıl Elma, apart from the stereotypical Soviet common identity, the Kyrgyz lifestyles, cultures, etc.? How are local elements processed? Answers were sought for the questions. From perspective, it is seen that Red Apple film, which is analyzed, carries the dramaturgical traces with its narrative form, place used, character choices and sequence of events. In addition, film also presents an implicit world narrative with sociological and poetic drama approach. It has been determined that the event flows such as dramatic conflict and crisis in the story add both visual and discourse dimension to the film.
