Abstract:

These thresholds aim to uncover the conditions that produce violence within the contemporary family by examining its forms, structures, practices, and extensions in both space and human relationships. The study also seeks to deconstruct the mechanisms of cultural occupation and the trajectories of family disintegration, with a focus on imported violence, which becomes a framework for action and reconstruction in light of the value and societal transformations shaping today's world. So, how does imported violence emerge? How do the agents of cultural occupation operate? How do manifestations of family disintegration unfold in our contemporary society? And are there any possibilities for revitalizing social links and reducing the probabilities of violence and counter-violence? These are the core questions this study engages with, aiming to answer them through a critical approach that adopts a relational mode of thinking—one that seeks to link cause and effect, past and present, with the goal of understanding, interpreting, and forecasting.
