Abstract:

The study aimed to determine married individuals perceptions of God and conflict resolution styles in terms of various variables. The research was conducted according to the survey model, one of the quantitative research methods. Snowball sampling technique was used to select participants in the study. The number of participants in the research is 458. According to the results of the research, there was a statistically significant difference in the love-oriented God perception dimension for women in terms of gender. Among the conflict resolution styles dimensions, a statistically significant difference was observed for men only in the subordination dimension. According to age group, in the negative conflict resolution dimension, there was a statistically significant difference in favor of the 21-28 age group, and in favor of the 37-45 age group and the 46 and over age group. According to education level, in the dimension of love-oriented perception of God, there was a statistically significant difference between secondary school graduates and university graduates in favor of secondary school graduates. A statistically significant difference was detected between primary school graduates and mastersdoctoral graduates in the positive conflict resolution dimension in favor of mastersdoctoral graduates. In the subordination dimension, there was a statistically significant difference between secondary school graduates and university graduates in favor of secondary school graduates. The importance of the study is that it fills the gap in the literature on this subject by examining the differences between married individuals perceptions of God and conflict resolution styles in terms of studies on marriage.
