 تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على منظور السينما العربية ومعالجتها لقضية الهوية الفلسطينية، باعتبار السينما فنا من الفنون السمعية البصرية المتطورة التي أجادت تصوير واقع الإنسان المعاصر وهمومه وتطلعاته، كما تطرح إشكالية علاقة السينما بجنس الرواية، وآليات انتقال الكتابة الروائية من النص إلى الشاشة من خلال توظيف تقنيات مختلفة كالاقتباس، المونتاج، الحذف، الترجمة... واستنادا إلى نموذج سينمائي هو فيلم "عائد إلى حيفا" المقتبس من رواية "عائد إلى حيفا" للروائي الفلسطيني "غسان كنفاني"، ومن أهم ما توصلت إليه هذه الدراسة من نتائج هو إسهام الفيلم السينمائي في الكشف عن صورة الفلسطيني المغترب ، وإثارة سؤال الهوية، وبلورة روح النخوة والدفاع عن الوطن، بالإضافة إلى نبذ العنف والتقتيل والتخاذل الذي فرضه الاحتلال الصهيوني، ومن هنا يتضح أن للسينما دورا في تصوير الواقع المتأزم دون تزييف.

Abstract: this study aims to high on the perspective of Arab cinema and its treatment of the issue of Palestinian identity, considering cinema as an advanced audiovisual art that has mastered portraying the reality of modern man, his concerns and aspirations, and also raises the problem of cinema's relationship with the gender of the novel, and the mechanisms of transition of novel writing from text to screen through the use of various techniques such as quotation, montage, deletion, translation... Based on a cinematic model, the film "return to Haifa" is adapted from the novel "return to Haifa" by the Palestinian novelist Ghassan Kanafani.one of the most important findings of this study is the contribution of the film to revealing the image of the expatriate Palestinian, raising the question of identity, crystallizing the spirit of elitism and defending the homeland, in addition to renouncing violence, murder and inaction imposed by the Zionist occupation, hence it becomes clear that cinema has a role in portraying the crisis reality without falsification.
