Abstract:

 Abstract:
The importance of Edward Said (1935 - 2003) reading of Fanon's work lies within the theory of postcolonial discourse; And all of this so as not to be reduced to just a fierce anti-colonialist and his ally, the colorful colon. Frantz Fanon became an essential reference for the aforementioned theory, after he excelled in liberation from the traditional studies of colonialism, as he became a sign of a unique and independent branch of knowledge under the title: Fanonisme or Etudes Fanoniennes, as Contributed to the transition from decolonization to post-colonial criticism. In this transition, scholar Matthieu Renault, in his book Franz Fanon: From Anti-colonialism to Post-Colonial Criticism (2011)[5], delves into the position occupied by Frantz Fanon in post-colonial studies in the United States of America. and France. From 1960 to 1963, Ahmed lived in North Africa, working primarily in Algeria where he joined the Algerian National Liberation Front and worked with Franz Fanon and some Algerian nationalists who were waging a liberal war against the French in Algeria. He was offered to join the first independent Algerian government, but he refused, preferring to live as an independent thinker.
