Abstract:

The central maghreb has witnessed a wide range of commercial relations with many countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea. This is due to its excellent geographic location. It has also given it an enviable position by many countries. Various relations have been formed, most notably trade, where goods and goods are transported from coast through ports, To foreign countries or vice versa, bringing them fromd ifferent countries to the coast to be displayed market or move to the Sahara where the coastal trade movement active and diversified cruises, allowing them to deal with large European countries ships and transport from one port to another loaded with goods and goods, The commercial activity of ports such as Oran, Tunis, Jijel, Bouna and Bejaia, and the effects of Andalusian trade. The trade activity between the ports of Maghreb, Al-Andalus and the Islamic Mashreq is clear, and the maritime lines between the countries of orient and occident are trade exchanges. This is illustrated by the documents of the Gemayzeh, especially their emphasis on the Jewish presence and their monopoly on trade, and trade exchanges not only on the Islamic Mashreq countries, but also in the cities of Italy and Genoa and Pisa. In this regard, the importance of some Mediterranean ports such as the port of Bejaia began to become important in the Mediterranean trade since the 6th century AD. The Italian role in this period, especially the south ernvessels, which became the main means of transport for traders and goods between the Levant and Morocco, It has reached the limits of the Byzantine Empire, where the owner of the foresight adds that it is a "great marina where the Roman ships land from the Levant and other countries of the Roman Empire." It is an active element in international trade. Across the Red Sea Shipped in the port of Alexandria towards the western Mediterranean.
