Abstract:

In a saturated competitive environment, the managerial strategies of companies have abandoned old management theories. The blue ocean strategy presents a new prism for strategic innovation, capable of reconciling the simplification of the economic model with real added value for the customer. It allows products to be diversified by pushing back the cost/value boundaries of their usual market. This results in the creation of new markets devoid of competition, and favorable to the prosperity of businesses. Several companies around the world and even countries have successfully adopted the blue ocean strategy, which has allowed them to become leaders in created markets. The objective of this article is to present an overview of the blue ocean strategy and successful experiences of its adoption.
