Abstract:

The early interest in the Palestinian cause, which was led by the Association of Scholars headed by Abdel Hamid Ben Badis, was one of the initial foundational efforts to be aware of it. Ibn Badis' efforts were pioneering within that foundational awareness; He undertook the rooting of the issue from the legal point of view, and identified the parties responsible for the attack, avoiding the murderous generalization, and kept the issue alive in the conscience of the Algerian nation through continuous follow-up of events by commenting and directing, and involving people in supporting the cause by calling on them to contribute with compassion, supplication, supplication and money. This foundational awareness was followed by efforts that deepened and entrenched it in the collective conscience of Algerian society, which made it immune against all attempts at normalization or circumventing the just cause.
