Abstract:

This research had two basic parts: the first part is the theoretical which tackles a limited preview of the cultural criticism the researcher choose among various interfering definitions and which are sometimes contradictory. This preview tried to track with its understanding a track that suits its seriousness and its wide range of vision the cultural range of vision also suits its activity and as a result the knowledge enrichment is achieved by exploring what might have never been explored or trying to reread what has been read in a new preview. The second part was an applied study of a text from Kaleelah & Demnah to examine the hypotheses of previewing and their benefits the most important one is that the cultural criticism was not entirely cut of with literary criticism but it has come as a complement to perform tasks that literary criticism had been unable to perform and benefited from its achievements. This criticism I mean the cultural criticism has dealt with the texts as indicating practices and did not stop at them for their sake as it tried to tackle the discourse embedded into them thus the current research has investigated these two hypotheses in an applied form.
