Abstract:
The campaign of Lord Exmouth on the city of Algiers in 1816 –according to local travelers and a foreign consul - comparative study-
This topic told about Lord Exmouth invasion on the city of Algiers in 1816 through local traveler's writings, who was a scientist and Abderrahmane Ben Idriss El Akbar "sheikh" of Zaouia and by a foreign consul, who represents the USA in Algeria .These two persons were two eyewitnesses to this event. Westerners had enough accused our writers and historians about non objectivity and non sharpness of their writings. But what was said by this indigenous traveler was the opposite. He had overtaken the explanations of the American consul "William Shaller" through his different arguments.
