Abstract:

Relationships between variables that are considered to be investigated in daily life often emerge as more complex than simple bivariate relationships between an estimator and a constant. These relationships can be changed by adding a third variable called the mediation variable to the research design, or they can be shaped as a different model by adding this variable. The purpose of this research is to determine the mediating effect of the agricultural area variable in the relationship between the amount of crop production and crop production value variables in 81 provinces in Turkey in 2021. Data were analyzed by simple and multiple linear regression analysis. The findings of the study revealed that agricultural area AL does not have a mediating role in the relationship between crop production amount UM and crop production value MS.
