 The region of Khwārezm, located in the delta of the Jayhun River, holds strategic importance due to its position on the trade routes between the North Caspian and the West and East, as well as its fertile oasis lands. In the 10th-12th centuries, the Hanafi madhhab developed significantly in Khwārezm, closely linked with the Mutazilite doctrine in theology. This period is referred to as the Old Khwarezmian Hanafi School, and notable scholars of this time included Ibn al-Malāḥimī al-Zamakhsharī, al-Bakkālî, al-Tarjumānī, al-Muṭarrizī, al-Sakkākī, and al-Zāhidī. These scholars left a significant legacy in the field of fiqh, much of which has been preserved to this day. Husam al-Din al-Siğnākī, an important scholar of the Golden Horde, continued the traditions of the Old Khwārezmian Hanafi School in his works on theology, usul al-fiqh, and fiqh. He used the works of his predecessors but also sought to purify his writings from the influence of Mutazilite views. The aim of this study is to examine how much Siğnākī preserved or altered Mutazilite elements in his Ḥanafī-Māturīdī tradition. The research employs methods such as literature review, comparative analysis, and interdisciplinary approaches.

 Hârizm bölgesi Ceyhun nehrinin Aral gölüne dökülmeden önce oluşturduğu deltada yer almaktadır. Etrafını Karakum, Kızılkum gibi çöller ile kuşatıldığı için Hârizm vaha hüviyetindedir. Ayrıca Hazar denizinin kuzeyinden giden Batı ve Doğu yolları yüzeyinde bulunması ve vahanın verimli topraklarından dolayı İslam öncesi ve sonrası dönemde Hârizm önemli kılmıştır. Tarihi süreçte Hârizmşahların daha sonra Moğol istilası ve sonrası Altın Ordanın yönetimine verilmiş ve bu süreçte medeniyet, ilim ve mimarı yönden önemli etkiler bırakmıştır. IX.-XII yüzyıllar arasında Hârizm bölgesi Hanefiliğin bir hayli geliştiğini müşahede etmekteyiz. Bu bölgede yetişen alimler, fakihler ve kadıların hoca-talebe ilişkilerine baktığımızda Buhara ve Merv kanalı ile ilim silsilesi olduğunu söylemek mümkündür. Bu dönemdeki Hanefiliğin en belirgin özelliği olarak itikad yönden Mutezileyi benimsediğini söylemek mümkündür. Bu döneme genel olarak Eski Hârizm Hanefi Okulu denilmekte ve temsilcileri olarak da İbnül-Melâhimî, Zemahşerî, Bakkālî, Tercümânî, Mutarrizî, Sekkâkî ve Zâhidî gibi alimleri saymak mümkündür. Adı geçen alimlerin fıkıh alanında kaleme aldığı bazı eserleri günümüze kadar ulaşmayı başarmıştır. Tebliğimizde İbadet namaz, oruç, zekât, haç, kurban konuları ile sınırlandırarak onların eserlerine kelami eğilimlerin ne kadar uyguladığını ve örnekler ile göstermeyi amaçlıyoruz. Hüsâmiddîn Siğnâkī özel olarak Altın Orda fıkıh mektebinin temellendiren ve genel olarak Hanefilik için katkıları olan önemli alimdir. O eserlerinde Eski Hârizm Hanefi Okulu temsilcilerini kaynak olarak kullanmış ve usulü-fıkıh, fıkıh eserlerinde referans vermiştir. Hanefi-Mâtürîdî çizgiye benimseyen Siğnâkīnin eserlerinde itizali eğilimlerinde ne derecede arındırdığını veya aynen benimsediğini göstermeyi amaçlamaktadır.
