 The COVID-19 pandemic process affects all life in different ways. The increasing influence of the media on our lives due to the pandemic has caused teachers to reevaluate the presentation methods of the course content, apart from the traditional teaching methods. In the study, it was aimed to determine the media literacy skill levels of teachers working at different educational levels and to examine them according to various variables. The descriptive research method was used in the study created with a quantitative research design. In the sample group of the study, there are 120 teachers working at different education levels. Research data were obtained using the personal information form and the Media Literacy Skills Scale. In the analysis of the data, t-test in independent groups and one-way ANOVA were used. When the results of the study were evaluated in general, it was determined that the media literacy levels of teachers were not high. In addition, it has been determined that the media literacy skills levels of teachers do not differ according to gender and study year, but differ according to the education level. In general, it is necessary to focus on media tools and practices that strengthen and maintain interaction in the context of teacher-student-education.

 COVID-19 pandemi süreci tüm hayatı farklı şekillerde etkilemektedir. Medyanın pandemi nedeniyle hayatımız üzerindeki artan etkisi, öğretmenlerin geleneksel eğitim yöntemlerinin dışında, ders içeriklerinin sunum yöntemlerinin yeniden değerlendirilmesine sebep olmuştur. Bu nedenle de yapılan araştırmada farklı eğitim kademelerde görev yapan öğretmenlerin medya okuryazarlık becerisi düzeylerinin belirlenmesi ve çeşitli değişkenlere göre incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Nicel araştırma deseniyle oluşturulan çalışmada, nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden betimsel araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunda farklı eğitim kademelerinde görev yapan 120 öğretmen bulunmaktadır. Araştırma verileri kişisel bilgiler formu ve Medya Okuryazarlığı Becerileri Ölçeği kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Verilerin analizinde bağımsız gruplarda t testi ve tek yönlü varyans analizi ANOVA yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucu genel olarak değerlendirildiğinde öğretmenlerin medya okuryazarlığı düzeylerinin yüksek olmadığı belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca öğretmenlerin medya okuryazarlık becerileri düzeylerinin cinsiyete ve çalışma yılına göre farklılık göstermediği, ancak görev yapılan eğitim kademesine göre farklılık gösterdiği belirlenmiştir. Genel olarak öğretmen-öğrenci-eğitim bağlamında etkileşimin güçlendirilmesi ve sürdürülmesini sağlayan medya araçları ve uygulamalarına odaklanmak gerekmektedir.
