Abstract:

Abstract
This article deals with the influence of format and content dualism on the critical perspective among Arab pioneers critics of the early 20th century. Despite the adoption of the pioneers of the theory of romantic literature, which many regarded as the revolutionary seed that paved the way for the theory of modernist literature. However, the format and the content duality appear to the pioneers just an extension of the ancient duality, i.e., verbal and meaning.
