Abstract:

This work presents an experimental study on the characterization of a local building material poly phasic ( Ksar el - Hara province of Djelfa ) used for its availability and ease of implementation. The control of the indoor temperature in a climatic environment subject to temperature changes is very important one of the outstanding features. The physical and structural properties of the composite have a durability of buildings for millennia. However, the mud of Ksar el Hara developed based muscovite clay, an average plasticity is weakened by an alteration of the effect of atmospheric parameters (moisture, weathering and thermal waters). The alteration and degradation of Ksar el Hara by water infiltration and rising damp has been favored by the nature of the composition of the adobe and its porous nature.
