 نشهد اليوم ميلاد حقبة جديدة تسمى عصر الصورة بامتياز، تهيمن فيها الثقافة البصرية بشكل غير معهود. فالصورة الإعلامية بأشكالها ومظاهرها أصبحت تحاصرنا من كل النواحي، ولعل من أهم الصور الإعلامية قوة وحضورا في الوقت الراهن، الصورة الإعلانية أو الإشهارية.
 هذه الصورة التي أصبحت تمس فئة الأطفال وتؤثر فيها بشكل كبير وملموس، قد عرفت تغيرات وتطورات على المستوى الدولي والوطني، خاصة بعد أن صارت تستهدف أضعف فئة في المجتمع. حيث توجب على المجتمع الدولي - بعد الجدل الذي حصل حول أبعاد قضية الإعلانات الموجهة للأطفال -، إتخاذ التدابير التنظيمية والتشريعية اللازمة كي لا تصبح هذه الإعلانات كأداة لاستغلال هذه الفئة، سواء عن طريق عرض الطفل في الإعلان أو التعرض له.
Today, we are witnessing the birth of a new era known as the media age, where visual culture dominates in an exceptional way. The media image, in all its forms and manifestations, surrounds us in all respects, so among the most important and strongest media images in the present time, we distingue ish announces or advertisements. this image, which now affects greatly the category of children, has undergone various changes and evolutions on the international and national levels, especially after targeting the most vulnerable category of society. The international community must take the necessary organizational and legislative measures to ensure that these advertisements do not become a tool for exploiting children, whether through the child's presentation or exposure to the advertisement.
