 The aim of this study is to examine the fair play behaviors of secondary school students in physical education and sports lesson activities in terms of different variables. The research group consists of 1815 secondary school students studying in the center and districts of Istanbul in the 2022-2023 academic year. Convenience sampling was used in the study. As data collection tools, personal information form and physical education course sportsman behavior scale were used. SPSS 26 package program was used in the analysis of the data. In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics, independent sample t test for two independent variables, one-way analysis of variance for three or more independent variables were applied. As a result, while there was no significant difference in the fair play behaviors of the students according to the type of school, those who were younger and 9. Grade students avoid negative behaviors more than other age groups and grades. Women exhibit more fair play behaviors than men, while unlicensed students exhibit more fair play behaviors than licensed students. The fair play behaviors of the students were seen at a very good level compared to the average of the overall score. Therefore, these results show that fair play behaviors at the school level are at a good level, but there is a decrease in athletes who compete in amateur competitions. Moral behaviors acquired in the educational environment are influenced by different social environments.

 Bu çalışmanın amacı ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin beden eğitimi ve spor dersi etkinliklerindeki fair play davranışlarının farklı değişkenler açısından incelenmesidir. Araştırma grubunu 2022-2023 eğitim öğretim yılında İstanbul merkez ve ilçelerinde eğitim gören 1815 ortaöğretim öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada kolayda örnekleme kullanılmıştır. Veri toplama araçları olarak kişisel bilgiler formu ile beden eğitimi dersi sportmen davranış ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde SPSS 26 paket program kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistik, iki bağımsız değişken için bağımsız örneklem t testi, üç ve daha fazla bağımsız değişkenler için tek yönlü varyans analizi uygulanmıştır. Sonuç olarak öğrencilerin fair play davranışlarında okul türüne göre anlamlı bir farklılık görülmezken, yaşı küçük olanlar ve 9. Sınıf öğrencileri diğer yaş grupları ve sınıflara göre negatif davranışlardan daha fazla kaçınmaktadır. Kadınlar erkeklere göre, lisanlı olmayanlar lisanslı olan öğrencilere göre daha fazla fair play davranışları sergilemektedir. Öğrencilerin fair play davranışları ise genel puan ortalamasına göre oldukça iyi düzeyde görülmüştür. Dolayısıyla bu sonuçlar okul düzeyinde fair play davranışlarının iyi düzeyde olduğunu ancak amatör müsabakalarda mücadele içerisine giren sporcularda bir düşüş olduğunu göstermektedir. Eğitim ortamında kazanılan ahlaki davranışlar farklı sosyal ortamlardan etkilenmektedir.
