Abstract:

Integration and assimilation are two words which have frequently been used in discussions of massive immigration and immigrants in the last few decades. There have been attempts to redefine the terms integration and assimilation to include the new meanings in recent times. However, the meanings, to many people, are still unclear. This research paper aims to come up with new workable meanings of these two terms. Their importance and values depend on studying the needs analysis of the immigrants, their perspective and their reactions towards the two terms in question. It is worth mentioning that this research paper is based on the study of circumstances of the immigrants in their schools and whether or not the curriculum is tailored to suite the conditions of immigrants.
