Abstract:

The phenomenon of genocide, defined as a crime against humanity, has been observed throughout history and is characterised by the use of disproportionate violence and brutality. It can be predicted that genocides will not end if the world order continues in this way. Therefore, it is imperative to gain a deeper understanding of genocide and the perpetrators of genocide in order to reduce these wars based on violence and brutality. Can we identify a specific identity that predisposes large groups or nations to commit genocide? If so, what are the characteristics of these violent communities? Can the origins of the sense of brutality of these violent communities be psychologically uncovered and analyzed? It should be noted that this study does not claim to provide definitive answers to all the questions that have been posed. Nevertheless, it appears feasible, though only to a limited extent, to examine and assess genocide and its manifestations within a more specialized and specific context. It is therefore evident that it would be more advantageous for humanity to address and analyse a genocide that is currently taking place and that has been observed by all. The ongoing Palestinian genocide, which has been systematically implemented by the Israeli state since 1948, reached its zenith in Gaza on 7 October 2023. It is crucial to understand how a systematic genocide that has been ongoing for nearly 76 years is attempted to be legitimised. Based on this information, the objective of this study is to elucidate on what grounds the genocidal state of Israel commits genocide and what characteristics this violent Zionist community, based on religion and race, has. While analysing the study, it will also be explained how the characteristic features of Israel have been shaped in the historical process. The study, which was designed in the style of a compilation, first addressed the genocide and the causes of genocide, before turning to an examination of the psychological reasons for the implementation of genocide in the specific case of the Zionist state of Israel. In this regard, the initial step is to present the information on how the Jewish personality is included in the Quran and Hadiths. Subsequently, the origins of the tendency to violence in the Jews are examined, with particular attention to the psychology of chosenness, narcissism and collective narcissism, the psychology of victimhood, chosen trauma, the presence of a pathological leader, exile, homelessness, oppression and slavery psychology, and the tendency to violence in Jews and pathological god imaginations. These factors are identified as being of particular significance in this context. It can be concluded that the presence of sick thoughts based on mythological elements, such as the perception of being Gods chosen community, the belief that the promised land, including Palestine, was bestowed upon them by God, the conviction that all and any created entity exists for the benefit of the Jewish community, and the assumption that they can be slaughtered when necessary, serve to elucidate a genocidal picture. The world is bearing witness to the destruction of an innocent nation at the hands of Zionist ideology, which offers a multitude of irrational justifications, including those of chosenness, the promised land, and the transfer plan. In the current global context, where people are passive spectators, where the rule of law is absent, and where genocide is observed with indifference, it is evident that there is a need for care, indifference, and compassion to be exercised as much as possible.
