Abstract:

The purpose of this study is focused on approaching the novel's title in its
artistic and semantic relationship with the narrative structure, and on the extent of its impact on the ongoing storytelling in the novel. We assume that the narrative begins from the title, as a narrative text that prepares the recipient for the narrative details contained within the fictional text. The title is not just a linguistic sign whose function is solely to identify the type of literary text, but it also serves as a means to delve into the text through interpretation, deduction, and analysis.
