Abstract:

This paper seeks to search for the concept of poetry among the Arab critics, who sought to define it by what they possessed from the forelock of the Arabic language, which is considered the powerful way that they influence through their critical opinions. Thus, this research aims to define this genre from the perspective of the heritage it represented Al-Qartajani, and from the angle of modernity that Al-Aqad represented, and then presented their critical opinions.
