Abstract:

This research reviews a review of one of the branches of geography, which is the geography of time, as the prevailing when dealing with time in geography revolves around the analysis of time series, and thus the matter is limited to determining the amount of change and the direction of the phenomenon and whether it is about an increase or decrease, with the possibility of predicting the direction in the future, during the period of the fifties From the last century, a new concept of time appeared in geography, represented by what was proposed by the Swedish geographer Torsten Hägerstrand, where the concept centered on the question: What is the time taken for all connections that a person travels, for example, during his path from point A to point B?, and how will these connections intertwine for all People in this place?, And what is the shape of the area diagram through which this person will move between the point of departure and arrival?, These questions all represent a branch of geography, which is the geography of time, and here the researcher tries to review this concept.
