Abstract:

In Muslim states, the general form of the media seems to be more restrictive than independent. Our claim is noteworthy because in these states sometimes publishing material against the will of the elite becomes an unforgivable crime. However, it should be borne in mind that the general form of media in Muslim states, like other states, is based on modernity and Muslims also make full use of these resources. Therefore, the elites of the Muslim states also formulate their strategies in the light of circumstances and events and later in the context of those strategies, the media undergoes a phase of freedom or restriction. Most of the media officials have to endure the hardships of imprisonment in order to sustain the affairs of the government and to avoid the wrath of the public opinion. Sometimes media outlets face severe restrictions. Such operations in other Muslim countries, including Pakistan, are recent and recent observations. At the time of compiling this article, there are complaints from some media outlets within Pakistan itself that they are not being allowed to express their views freely. In a situation where the freedom of the media has become more of a necessity than the need of the hour, it is not encouraging for the elites to shy away from selfishness and reform. Although this article highlights the general character of the media, it also points out the attitude of the elite in a sub-aspect.
