Abstract:

The Algerian revolution is one of the revolutionary movements of the Maghreb countries, which managed to break the silence imposed by the French media and its information system, through the movement of the Algerian foreign delegation at the level of European countries in general and in the Kingdom of Belgium in particular. These movements resulted in the emergence of an elite group French and Belgian intellectuals advocating the Algerian cause; through their cultural, political and legal activities. In this study, we will try to identify these intellectuals and their impact on Belgian public opinion in order to clarify the justice of the Algerian revolution. In analyzing the elements of this modest study, we have relied on our reading of archival documents in the archives of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
