The current study aimed to recognize the relationship between the quality of marital life and self-disclosure of married men and women in Riyadh city and how this relationship differs according to gender (husband and wife). The study also aimed to recognize the relationship between the quality of marital life and the period of marriage as well as recognizing the differences in marital life quality attributed to the level of income, gender and the interaction between these two Variable's. The study also aimed to identify the differences in the quality of marital life attributed to the number of children, gender and the interaction between them, it also aimed to verify the extent of self¬-disclosure contribution in predicting the quality of marital life for both the husband and wife. In order to achieve these objectives, the study used the correlative descriptive approach. The study sample consisted of (902) married men and women in Riyadh city, these were divided into (404) married men and (498) women, selected purposefully from the original study population. In order to answer the study questions, the researcher prepared the quality of marital life scale and used the self-disclosure scale of married couples (Ramadan, 2012). The study main findings: -There is a statistically significant relationship between the quality of marital life and the couples' self-disclosure. -There is a statistically significant inverse correlative relationship between the quality of marital life and the duration of marriage for both husband and wife. -There are no statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) or less, or (0.01) concerning the quality of marital life due to the level of income and interaction between the level of income and gender (husband-wife), while there are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) and less regarding the quality of marital life attributed to gender (husband - wife). There are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) regarding the quality of marital life attributed to both the number of children and gender, while there are no differences regarding the quality of marital life, attributed to the interaction between them. -Women Self-disclosure contributes in predicting the quality of marital life while men self-disclosure does not contribute in predicting the quality of marital life.
