Abstract:

Rahmet Feyzî, who has an important place in modern Uzbek literature, is a versatile writer who has written works in the genres of poetry, novels, long stories, short stories, essays and film scripts.
Rahmet Feyzî was born on October 10, 1918 in a family of workers living in the Karataş neighborhood of Beşağaç district of Taşkent. His mother, Selamet, worked in the weaving factory, and his father, Feyzullah, worked as a worker in the Tashkent tram. Feyzullah was an intellectual who gave importance to his political, literary and artistic life. His father had a great influence on Rahmet Feyzî's becoming a strong writer. Feyzî both studied and worked as a worker in her childhood. After finishing secondary school, he studied electrical and mechanical engineering. Feyzî, who worked for many newspapers throughout his life, passed away on November 18, 1988.
Feyzî wrote more than sixty stories during his forty-year literary life. However, only sixteen of these stories are included in Feyzî's three-volume works. In these stories, which are the source of our article, the author focused on social issues, the labor of the working class and the themes of patriotism. In connection with these themes, Feyzî has fictionalized idealistic, hardworking and loyal to his homeland characters. The most striking point in Feyzî's stories is the situation of children who lost their parents during the war years. In many of his stories, he reflected the moods of children in this situation. The author also glorified the Uzbek people, who showed compassion to these children regardless of their nationality.

Rahmet Feyzî, 10 Ekim 1918 yılında Taşkent’in Beşağaç bölgesi Karataş mahallesinde yaşayan bir işçi ailesinde dünyaya geldi.
