Abstract:

It is clear today that the digital revolution that the majority of the economies of developed countries are witnessing is now providing new opportunities and promising prospects for countries on the path of growth. Digital technologies, with the sanction agreement, help to realize development goals at a rapid pace and with greater effectiveness, and also facilitate the effort of organizing every development activity in the long term. Digitization technologies not only does it allow individuals and companies in developing countries to access all forms of economic development and global markets, but it also provides access to important knowledge and information and increases employment opportunities.
Despite the efforts and attempts made by public authorities in Algeria to digitize some sectors such as financial activity, education, health, and some social services, the digital transformation initiative has produced relative results that have not yet met the desired goals.
This study aims to analyze the reality of the digital transformation effort in Algeria, reveal the difficulties facing this policy, and present some suggestions.
