Abstract:

After the demolition of the Safavid State, sovereignty was established in the Iranian geography by Afghans, Afsharids, Zends and Qajar srespectively. Undoubtedly, after the Safavids, the most powerful state that dominated theregion was Qajars. As a matter of fact, the next target of the Qajars, that strengthened their sovereignty in Iran, will be in the Middle East region. They willuse Shiism as a force, like the Safavids, who had their predecessors, in orderto gainsovereignty in the Middle East. Of course, the idea of establishing sovereignty in there gionvia Shiism, which was put intopracticeby Qajars, made the conflict between the Ottomans, who were therulers of the region and the biggest state of the Sunni Islamic world and the Turkish world at thatera, and Qajars. The Qajars provided political, economic and sectarian supportto the Shii tegroupssuch as Iraq, the Persian Gulf, Yemen, Syria and Lebanon in the Ottoman rule, İsmaili, Zeydi, Nuseyri and Durzi, and provoked these Shii tegroupsagainst the Ottoman State. This policy continued from theestablishment of the Qajar people in 1795 until the First World War.
