Abstract:

(Some corrections of A. Hadj Salah in Arabic linguistics)
Abstract
The Arab heritage, in its various forms and shapes, has been exposed to a lot of unjust and biased critique by Orientalists, including many contemporary Arab scholars who embraced the Orientalist stance as they were convinced about their suspicions and doubts. The Arabic grammar has got its share as well, yet some of the defenders of Arab heritage have critically responded to this, notably professor Abderahmane Hadj Salah who scrutinized the themes where Orientalists and Westernisers made errors. He has demonstrated this with much clarity in his articles, books, courses and conferences, particularly in relation to the originality of Arabic grammar and its inception, as well as its concepts and approaches. This research is an attempt to illustrate some his contributions which constitute a pioneering research investigation.
Key words: Arabic Heritage , Originality of Arabic Grammar, Concepts, Approaches.
