Abstract:

This study focuses on the representation of the female subject in Moroccan narrative written in Spanish. Female characters, endowed with significant symbolic depth, hold a central place in stories that critically depict the various forms of exclusion and subjugation to which women have been subjected: marginalization, domestic violence, forced marriages, among others. Through the analysis of these plots—rich in emotional and spiritual nuances—we also aim to deconstruct the stereotypes associated with Moroccan women, promoting a critical reading that challenges the reductionist views of their identity.
