Abstract:

Abstract:
Animations have a vast ability to influence children and trace the features of their personality, because of the privacy they hold that attract their attention and interest, and make them learn from them as much as they learn from the family and school, and perhaps more. However, the danger is not this in the first place; it is rather in the fact that these programs are prepared according to the particularity of another society in match with its values. This is what makes the child lives in situations of contradiction between reality and his experience of watching cartoons. In addition, he is imbued with values that contradict in many aspects with the values of his society. The child , by nature, is highly impressionable and ready to receive all kind of values and behaviours without having the ability of analysing, selecting, or self-criticising, as he is in the process of building his experience about reality, and every information and idea can be recorded is to be a part of the personality of this child.
