Abstract:

The study of this article includes discussion of its owner’s title and the kinship of individuals represented on the stela, together with discussion of the date of the stela. The stela can be dated to late of Senwosret I through Amenemhat II on the basis of the stylistic features of other stelae dated to the same period. The importance of the stela is represented in the following: It has to be grouped among the rare ones, for the depiction of his sister in front of the deceased, instead of his wife or mother. This stela used the sibling terms in wide use to express collateral kinship. The holder of the stela has some social rank.
